Overview
Using the Joliper solution, developers may easily and quickly launch their own mobile services and applications.
Porting existing applications to our platform typically requires only a small effort.
Currently we support .Net (WinForms, ASP.NET, WPF), HTML, Java and J2ME, and native applications.
Our platform can be easily adapted to additional environments upon request.
How it Works
After registering with us, you will receive an SDK for your target development environment.
As the application developer, you will need to create the look and feel of your application as well as implement the business logic behind it.
The framework will take care of everything else involved in delivering your application over a video call to any 3G phone, shielding you from the complexities of the telephony protocols.
We will also provide you with a phone number to access your application.
When users call your application number, our gateways will relay the call to your application.
The diagram below shows an overview of our platform.
Getting Started
- Register with us to receive the SDK here.
- Design and implement the user interface for your application in your platform of choice (WPF/Sliverlight, WinForms or HTML). In the SDK are various useful controls such as menus, smart text entry forms (T9), maps, etc. We recommend using these controls as building blocks for your UI, as they have already been specifically optimized for mobile phone applications.
- Implement the business logic of your application. This can be done independently of your UI and our platform.
- Design and implement the user interaction with your application. Our framework will provide you with simple interaction events such as key-presses which you will need to process. You are not required to understand or implement any telephony or video call protocols.
- Configure your application hosting. It can be hosted on your servers, or if you wish, we can provide application hosting as well.
- Start calling!
